Features, or bugs, include erratic tone control, from splatter horror to gonzo goofiness, a recurring villain who, although well-dressed and doubtless pretty to draw, makes. But hidden in the mysterious Forbidden Fortress is a dragon's eye: the key to true darkness and the villains' only hope of escape. He meets Tsuzuki with tears in his eyes and Tsuzuki, thrown off, asks if Muraki has seen a woman recently. Though this is later shown to be a trait for all Shinigami, he was the first one shown to have this ability, which appears to be tied to his pre-death abilities.

Background Edit Tsuzuki was born inand was 26 years old when he died and became a Shinigami. It really is kinda incoherent. The rather short-lived anime concentrates on a few early case fics, leaves out a lot of the gonzo side-trips, and, of course, stops before the manga does. Kazusa gives Hijiri her father's violin after he loses his own, unaware that it is possessed by a demon. Since Kyoto, she has born a grudge against her fellow fire-type Touda for the part he played in assisting Tsuzuki in his latest attempt of suicide.
When Tsuzuki regains his suicidal tendencies, Hisoka comforts him and ends up preventing him from committing suicide once again. The shinigami themselves are all former humans still tied to the world by unresolved spiritual issues, giving built-in angsty backstories for the whole cast, although we only see some of the principals'. He has known Tsuzuki for all of the latter's career, and is one of the few characters who knows Tsuzuki's mysterious past before he became a shinigami. In the book, Tsuzuki's feminine form [whom Tsuzuki meets and calls "Ruka" after his sister] is to be wed to the Hakushaku's character though in the end she falls in love with Butler, the book version of Tatsumi, representing the past relationship between Tsuzuki and Tatsumi.
In checking Wikipedia it appears there is hope of a volume 12 to be released inbut the details are rather vauge. He died protecting Hisoka from an enraged Kurikara. In the manga, she is a shinigami after she dies but in the anime this is never stated, causing some confusion when she is seen, alive and well, with Tsuzuki and Hisoka at the end of the arc.

Despite the confusing multiple story lines I still really enjoyed the manga and hope that the manga-ka does, in fact, pick up her series or at least give us one last volume to conclude her story lines. He is a mysterious character with long black hair whose eyes are never shown, adding to the mystery of his character.
Wakaba Kannuki[ edit ] Wakaba appears only twice briefly in the anime including the opening, and not particularly often in the manga. This leads one to presume that Terazuma is a prime example of a 'bad match'.
Like the Meifu, GensouKai appears to be an individual realm and society in its own right.

In the anime, Saki is directly responsible for the deaths of Muraki's parents, though in the manga Muraki says he killed his own mother. They are nearly the same age and look very similar, though Saki has blond-brown hair. Thought to be the most powerful shikigami in all of Gensoukai.
The curse is still active after his death, and visible in the form of red marks all over Hisoka's body, which reappear during encounters with Muraki, particularly in dreams.
In their quest for the dragon's eye, these kids begin to realize that just because you come from an evil family tree, being good ain't so bad.
